CBCP says do not promote Happy Halloween

Just like an ordinary Sunday I and my family visited church today. But we went to another church in Malabon. It was a boat ride away from Navotas. Much of my observations were focussed on the aesthetic beauty of it. We usually visit the place but most of the times we were at the right side of it. Now I have seen a huge painting in the ceilings that illustrates Jesus Christ’s sufferings. I started counting them and the total is twelve.  Aside from the look...church staffs were very strict about how church goers dressed themselves. One scenario was when my younger sister who’s been wearing a sleeveless called her attention by one of the church staff. Well, I think they have the right to do so. But what I am thinking here is how about some of the guys who attended church the same day wearing shorts? The point here is all church goers who wears inappropriately should be called their attention to. Just to be fair.
And before the mass ended, parish priest leave us a very important message and that is according to the Catholic Bishop Conference of The Philippines or CBCP says do not promote or attend to any Halloween celebration. Stating reasons like on the 1st day of November we’re supposed to celebrate All Saints day. On the 2nd day of the same month All Souls Day. And to sum it up it was not stated there that we have to celebrate or support or even promote devils activities.
Citing a very funny but then important point that we should not put any devil’s horn on any of our children because they were all angels.  The observation of the November 1st to 3rd should be concentrated on the soul of people whom we loved and should be prayed all the time.
