An outdoor fun

I changed the way we spent weekend.
Normally, specially during Sunday we would choose to wake up late and have our breakfast or sometimes we called them "brunch," at home and go to church at 4 in the afternoon.
This time, I woke up at 5 in the morning and cooked our favorites sunny side-up eggs and hotdog. It always work paired with bread and a hot coffee.
After everything was ready, I went to bed and wake them up. I tried doing it twice but they were still at sleep. I even switched off the fan but believe me...it was a failure.
So I had my breakfast alone and had shower after.
After Bathing, I was surprise to see both of them on our sala eating their first meal.
But really getting them both ready, normally took like 2 hours.
We were all set at 7 and an hour after, we were at the venue of our outdoor activity.
Nothing is new here, except for a special time alotted for my weekend workout.
Except for my daughter's personal request to stay at the "Children's Playground."
Weekend is literally having two days off from work...very limited time to unwind.
But I'll make it appoint to make the most out of it with my family.
You only live once...so spend your time wisely.
But do not think twice if you choose to be with the people you truly love...your FAMILY!

A Saturday Bonding at Parks and Wildlife

I still wanted to sleep but my daughter Althea, was very excited waking me up as early as 6:30 in the morning.
No wonder why, before we went to bed last night I promised her that we are all going out the following day.
Out of curiosity, I thought of a popular park in Quezon City.
I used to visit the place when I was still in High-school and during my early year in College.
Well, there are still few things quite interesting about the place.
The whole family somehow was mesmerized with different types of rescued endangered birds and some animals.
To avoid the feeling of being exhausted out of a hot weather, try to visit the place in the morning.
Unfortunately, this is not a perfect time to have a glance on it, for the Park is currently under renovation.

BEST DAY EVER!

Last night, I was torn between deciding whether to go out or not with my family.  Because if ever we all push thru…I wanted something different from the usual. So, I came to think of not just changing the venue, but the activity as well. But the main requirement to consider it is that it should be a budget friendly family area.It was almost 12 midnight when I said let’s visit a park I know in Pasig. At first, I even couldn’t remember the name of the place. So I asked google and got all the answer I needed…from the convenient way of going there, and if all amenities like pool, etc are still present. We came-in almost lunch. The system there was to pay as you enter. Since, we’re interested in butterfly garden, train ride and the mini-zoo, we all paid for it.Surprisingly, it has an affordable rate even though were a Non-Pasig resident for a price of P20 per head you can enjoy all the said choices.Except for a payment intended for a pool which is P150 each per head, and a boat ride which is P50 per head for Adult and P30 for kids.I’m quite unsure of the “Zipline,” and the “Rock Climbing,” fees which was an addition in making the place more interesting to visit. We stayed there for a very limited time only…but our daughter says it was her “Best Day Ever!”
