It is a MUST to be FIT

I started trimming and working out at home when I quit for gym two years ago.
Since, I wanted to prove that even without hitting the gym I can still be
at my best physical look...I created a routine exercise at home.
With the help of a fitness ball, a flat floor for push-ups, and a jumping rope...
I can be at my best.
I'd like to think that 'Consistency is always the key to result'.
That is why I never stop from believing that one day, I will be at my best form.
Stop making reasons that you lack time on committing into being fit.
Consider this as an inspiration...I usually work weekdays and has a very early call time for work
because of a morning show.
I need to rise as early as 1 in the morning because I have to meet a 3 am call time.
I may lack sleep sometimes, rather most of the time. But I'll always makes it appoint that I will
always include exercise in my daily morning ritual.
I was doing this since last year of 2012 and up to present.
After stretching, which we should all do before committing into an intense exercise...
I usually do 3 sets of push-ups, each reps (repitition) has 25 counts and I was doing this before or after I indulge with a sit-ups in my fitness ball.
Normally, I also does 3 reps for this, each set has 60 counts.
And finally, same reps with a jumping rope for my cardio-vascular exercise.
But of course, exercise alone is not enough. One great move to achieve your goal in getting healthy and physically fit is including a diet on your daily meal.
I was able to spoke with a female co-worker and she share her secret on a proper diet.
I was told that I have to try a 'Portion Control' diet.
This is very simple all you have to do is limit the portion of your food intake.
I can't stop eating rice, but I am taking it in a very controlled manner.
Especially during dinner time. You can't have some but don't eat as much as you want.
And scrap the idea of adding pork in your meal. it would be best if you'll be taking more veggies, and sea foods.
Also add fruits in your diet. In the nearby market you can get pineapple and water melon only sold for P10 each.
And settle for water to obey your thirst.
Just imagine a 12oz content of a soft drink is equivalent to 12 teaspoons of sugar.
And best of all start your diet and exercise today.
Not tomorrow, the following day, or next year.

Out of the box

I'm a type of a guy who's been fond of wearing common jeans.
I used to worn baggy denims and sometimes those that has many pockets.
In short, in my younger years...I was an old-fashioned guy.
Lately, when I have the chance to do a window shopping from one boutique to another...
my perception about wearing jeans has finally changed.
Though, attach to this BIG change in ME is being so meticulous.
One giant move on this could now be seen on wearing a colored pants.

A Summer Fever At Home

I and my wife Mary Anne Garabot, have always been planning to bring the family out of the house to swim and enjoy the water from the pool or dream big at the beach.  Since, we couldn’t grant this request for now… I thought of the best alternative to make this possible.
Now, Althea  can enjoy a water dip at home in her improvised pool!

A Wednesday to remember

Tuesday night I spoke to my wife Mary Anne about a plan of seeing them after work. I asked them to visit me at my office. This also gave an opportunity for our daughter Althea to pay a visit with some of my co-workers at Solar News Channel.
After a warm greeting with them, we went to the nearest mall and ate lunch at McDonalds, SM Megamall.
We’ve been frequently visiting the fast food chain to bring a happy meal toy for Althea.

After that, we went to a Toy Kingdom and there she spotted two interesting toys; a bubble , and also brought home a colorful “Easter Eggs”.

I got reminded that day…I need to get myself a new cellphone.
I started looking out for every possible store and there I have seen brands like Lenovo, my phone, cherry mobile, to name a few.
Althea started to fall asleep after drinking her milk.
While I was looking for her, my wife volunteered to look around.
She went back after and suggested a particular trusted brand.
A limited budget led me from choosing a Nokia 101. A very nice replacement for my old Blackberry mobile phone.
Lately, I cannot open messages sent to me and the worst was I can no longer use it to call anyone.

Then, we had our dinner at the French Baker.
I ordered for pasta paired with a four season’s drink, while my wife had a burger steak and an iced mocha.
Along the way, while we were all strolling we passed by a theatre area of the mall. Althea suggested us to watch “Must Be Love,” a Star Cinema movie featuring Danielle Padilla, and Kathryn Bernardo.
I don’t know, at a very young age Althea fell in-love with their love teams.
I might be sleepy but then still grant my daughter and my wife’s request.
Inside the theatre, we were both happy to see her singing a famous song from the movie…”Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat.”

After the movie, Althea says she wanted to grab some French fries and a sundae. So we went to McDonalds again but the bulk of people who wanted to order for something, made us scrap the idea.
Instead, we travelled to another branch near the Monumento and had our midnight snack there.
A great opportunity for Althea to complete her McDonalds happy meal toy.
We all had a great family day after.
And the whole day activity sent us all to have a very goodnight sleep.
