SQUEEZE HARDER

At the beginning, you have a resources enough to handle daily needs.

This is very similar to a brand new toothpaste you prefer and purchased in the nearby grocery or elsewhere.

This is comparable to your monthly obligations that you can handle well like electricity, water, apartment rental, telephone, groceries and other important necessities.

But the unexpected coming of the pandemic changes all our daily lives.

When the lockdown got implemented many of us literally has to stop from working. Many of us lose their jobs.

To survive, from the expensive or popular brand of toothpaste, we settle for something unbranded. Similar from getting a job sometimes far or out of our expertise.

A realization that you have a family to feed, and an obligations to meet.

This is the time now, you make use of your remaining resources.

Every move has a plan, every step is calculated.

From a full amount of toothpaste you place on your toothbrush, you lessen them.

Because you never wanted to reach the very end that even though you squeeze harder...

there were none.

OPEN TO WORK

Good day!

I am Rodolfo Garabot, aka "Rod,"  an experienced Broadcast Journalist for two decades now.

I graduated Bachelor of Arts, A. B. Communication Arts at the University of the East in Caloocan, in 2000.

I began my professional career when I started working as Program Researcher for Balitang K, a news magazine program in ABS-CBN, Channel 2.

Then occupied positions such as Editing Supervisor in The Filipino Channel (TFC).

After 8 to 9 years of working with the Network, I moved to GMA 7, and worked as Segment Producer for "Good News, Kasama si Vicky Morales," in GMA News TV in 2011 to 2012.

Another opportunity came in when I became an Associate Producer for Solar News, 9TV, and now popularly known as CNN Philippines for 6 years, under Nine Media Company in Mandaluyong City.

A hunger for career growth, and financial stability pushed me to find another work which led me from becoming an Executive Producer at The Manila Times Television in April 2009.

Another very recent opportunity was spotted and given to me when I was hired for Dreamwave Media Network as News and Current Affairs Head.

Now, I am open to work for another company and willing to share my expertise in the broadcasting network or any related field.

Through the years, I developed a philosophy in life which a strongly believe...

"Dream,

Work Hard,

Triumph."

Thank you and more power!

Respectfully yours,

Mr. Rodolfo A. Garabot

WE ARE…”ONE VOTE PH!”

The 19th of March is not just an ordinary Friday, where one is excited for because it serves as a cue to end work days prepping for weekend, a time to rest and special time spent for loved-ones and family.

At this very day, marks the grand launch of One Vote PH and the Keystrat Campaign Hub a central command located at the 29th floor, One Corporate Center in Julia Vargas Corner in Meralco Avenue in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Several friends from the media came in to witness this very much anticipated and monumental event of the year.

We have the following visitors from the Department of Education (DepEd), representatives from the QC-LGU IT department, guests from the multimedia office, Philippine Star Global, and Fundnest.

ONE VOTE PH ANSWERS QUESTIONS ABOUT SOME ACCUSATIONS, THE AGENCY ADVOCACY, TOOLS, CANDIDATE SUPPORTS, ON ABSENTEE VOTING, ACCREDITATIONS, AND MORE

Mitch Isip, The Chief Executive Officer, denies accusations that One Vote PH is competing with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and reiterated that the agency, do exist to provide help for the Filipino voters.

“We are helping the COMELEC and not competing with them. Even with a disclaimer, we are really here to help.”

On the other hand, Mr. Christian Gabriel C. Cruz, spokesperson of One Vote PH, said that it was established to provide an advocacy and to educate more the Filipino people on election matters.

Cruz in his recorded interview said,

"It’s more on advocacy po eh para maging active para ma-educate.

One of the invited press that attended the said launching was Ric Ryan L. De Leon, a representative from Department of Education (DepEd). De Leon asked a question  particularly on how One Vote PH escalate calls regarding election related concerns.

“Di ba tumatangap kayo ng calls? Paano i-escalate ang mga concerns regarding sa mga concerns sa election?”

Mitch Isip, CEO for One Vote PH, answered the question by giving an emphasis on the help of the call center that offers helpful hotline numbers that will soon to be released before the end of March 2021.

Isip said,

“Actually may call center na kami we have hotline numbers na ipo-post na namin siguro before the end of the month. So yung mga ganung concerns po ibabato po namin lahat yan sa COMELEC with documentations.

Since, recorded naman yung bawat tawag, yung nga recordings na yun pwede naming ibigay kay COMELEC. At the same time, kapag nakita nila yung mga pages namin, meron ding mga email addresses.”

“We want to make sure that everything is documented. Ito yung complaint ng isang netizen na ipapasa namin lahat kay COMELEC.

Dahil ayaw naman naming sabihin nila na gawa-gawa lang namin, sinisiraan namin sila. Talagang kami, we wanted to make sure that everything is well-documented and well-recorded,” Isip added.

Meanwhile, Cruz also gave an emphasis on the active and passive role of One Vote PH.

Cruz said,

“Mino-monitor po natin and at the same time dini-disseminate din natin yung information. Yung active role po natin is to disseminate. Yung passive role naman po natin is to monitor naman po.”

We also have visitors who came in from the IT department of the Quezon City Government namely; Mr. Roberto M. Germio and Mr. Edmund F. De Guzman.

One of them was then curious if One Vote PH has a master list copy of Voters in the Philippines.

“Do you have master list of our voters?”

Cruz, said that One Vote PH are gathering a nationwide information with the help of “Area Leaders,” including “Area Coordinators.”

“Sa ngayon po ay we are gathering the masterlist of our voters through our area leaders which is really reported na po sa mga area coordinators natin. This is a nationwide campaign naman po siya.

Isip also clarified that most of the information the agency is getting was from the COMELEC that became available as public documents. And reiterated that immediately after the erection of the call center “AADI,” comes the launching of One Vote PH’s mobile app.

Isip said, "Most of the information naman ay nanggaling sa COMELEC kasi it’s a public document din naman. Though, hinihingi din po namin yung mga nag-parehistro para po in case na may magtanong sa amin. Kasi po, after ng call center we're going to launch our mobile app na rin po natin. In case, mga press finders. Dahil ang kumpleto may listahan ng mga voters ay si COMELEC lang naman po. So we are still requesting it with them. And also yung updated one. Kasi what we have is baka hindi na rin updated. Usually may mga nire-remove at may mga bagong mga voters.

The QC-LGU visitors did a follow-up question and asked on how far the agency will go when it comes to election-related concerns regarding the COMELEC.

Yung tolerance o length ng pakikialaman ng One Vote PH?

Cruz said, "Lahat po pwede po nating pakielaman since independent po tayo."

Another question from the QC-LGU was if the agency was allowed to have someone trending? Which particularly pertains on giving a support on election candidate/s.

Cruz said,

"For that particular matter po, I think hindi po dahil non-partisan po tayo. Though kung lahatan po, I think pwede po iyon.

Most likely naman po pagdating ng election, nakalatag na po ang lahat ng kandidato diyan. Sa part po ng One Vote PH kung lahat po ng available na kandidato nakapost sa atin. Wala naman pong nakikitang masama doon.”

Isip gave concerns and emphasis on this very important question and answered it as…

"Wala tayong ipo-promote na kandidato. Even in our call center that's our requirement. Kung meron silang nabanggit na kung sino ang iboboto nila, it’s really a prompt for termination. That's how we keep the integrity of One Vote PH.

Naka-disclaimer naman even sa aming mga area coordinators na kapag tumanggap sila ng kahit candy, and everyone can report from us naman po, we can definitely terminate them and also they are legally bounded with us.”

"Actually wala naman pong perfect na system, the good thing with us since nakita na namin ang mga mali at kakulangan ng mga nauna sa amin, yun ang inipon namin.

And kung ano naman po ang nakita naming maganda sa mga nauna sa amin ina-adopt namin at ini-improve namin. Kasi iba na po yung mundo natin ngayon eh.”

One Vote PH team was also prompted with a question if it has a stand-alone watcher when the election officially begins?

“Pagdating ng botohan may sariling watcher si One Vote PH?”

Cruz said it comprises mainly with area leaders and area coordinators and that it will soon launch satellite offices in several regions in the Philippines.

“Yung ating area leaders and area coordinators, nagsisilbing parang training nila pagdating ng election.

After a hard work and busy schedule launching AADI call center, One Vote PH will soon launch satellite offices from Region 1 to ARMM.”

The challenging question thrown so far by the press people was knowing the limitations of the agency as to how far it can go?

“Hanggang saan ang One Vote PH?”

"Siyempre po ayaw naman nating direktang makialam kay COMELEC, hindi na tayo non- partisan kung ganun. Nangingialam kami. Nawawala po tayo sa mission and vision ng organization.

“Monitoring, reporting, siyempre po to the proper authorities po.

Cruz also added…

“Sa absentee voting naman po may toll free numbers naman tayo. Sa ngayon po wala tayong area leaders at area coordinators abroad. May campaign naman tayo via social media, dun po sa Facebook. Meron din tayo sa website natin na pwede naman po silang maglog-in doon at magcheck kung ano ang mga info na kailangan nila."

So far, according to Cruz, he explained the current status of its accreditation that was placed on hold due to the wide-spread of COVID-19.

“Boss Mitch (referring to Mitch Isip as the CEO), is still meeting with the COMELEC. As of today, everything is placed on hold due to the recent developments in the cases of the covid virus.

Rest assured, we will comply with all the mandatory requirements needed by One Vote PH to function independently in the upcoming elections.”

The election period is very near now, in a couple of months and after 2021, marks the official year where we get to know candidates who would want to serve our country.

Like any other organizations and agencies, One Vote PH will be playing a very special role in helping Filipinos here and abroad to know about the latest information on the progress of the election in the Philippines. Be it good or bad, whatever information the agency will gather, it will be following the strictest rule implemented as non-partisan and independent body.

As it can be recalled with the strongest battle cry, “One Voice, One Vote, One Nation!”

Undestanding News Presented On The Online Digital Platform

I have been working in the broadcasting world for almost 2 long decades now.
Back then, I learned from the traditional media like that of TV, Radio, Newspaper and Magazines on different types of news, entertainment and many more.

The profound use of the internet dictates people from this era to shift from the traditional to new media.

But why is this happening?
The power of the world wide web, plus the advancement of technology like the use of our personal mobile phones will give us access remotely in any parts of the world, away from our homes.

I remember, when I was part of CNN Philippines' rightsizing...I noticed that most of the job offerings were from the digital or online related work.

The realization that there's a huge market to sell the news for example has a higher demand now.

TNN, The Return!

It was on the 6th of September 2020,  Sunday...surprisingly I received messages from one social media platform and another one from my personal mobile number.
It was just a plain greeting. But honestly speaking, I was reluctant to receive a message from the person whom I previously have had worked before.

Looking back, I was hired in January with the same company. But back then, I assumed a post of a writer/content specialist.

The very first time I worked with a digital online news portal that uses at the beginning two social media platforms...Facebook and YouTube.
But as of today, it also tapped more social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, and has its own website now that recently monitizing now.

A 6 days in a week job, which requires me to stay from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The duty requires writing news from different genres using two different language Filipino/English.
Additional task was working on your own graphics layout using canva.

But before the very month of January 2020 ends, I along with 7-8 employees were asked to vacate the post.
I was told that some investors backed out.

I was then thinking that because it was a job that I found so fast,  (a common friend referral), I just accepted the very fact, that it will also end the same way.

OVERWHELMED WITH THE TASKS

On the 7th of September, I gave TNN my commitment for the offered job.
Specifically, I will be working as News Writer/ News Presenter.
Writing is something I wasn't born yesterday.
But, performing the task that is outside my comfort zone as 'News Presenter,' was really a tough call for me.

THE FIRST WEEK

I started working from TNN short for "Tony News Network," on the 10th of September.
At the time, I proposed for the following stories one was from Pres. Duterte's call to look for the most affordable vaccine to cure COVID-19.
And another story was about Growling Tiger  Coach Aldin Ayo's resignation that was brought about by the 'bubble training' controversy in Sorsogon. But angled on the indefinite suspension sanctioned by the UAAP.

The agreement here was from Mondays thru Thursdays...one voice-over story and one story that has on-cam intro and extro spiels.
The report must run at least 3 to 5 minutes.
And during Friday, I am required to do a news recap that has national, international, sports, police, showbiz, and feature stories to name a few.
Anything that made a headline prior to the recapping.

Looking at the requirements of the job, the procedure on working on all of these are just the same with broadcast TV where the elements present also posses the audio-visual elements.
But the major twist is that it uses the internet or the online news portal.

PROBLEMS/TRIALS/SOLUTIONS

Since the set up is a "Work from Home" (WFH), major adjustments was done to commit with a new found job.

I have a pretty small home and looking for a place where I can do the spiel was a great challenge for me at the very beginning.

I remember, I tried going to one of my sibling's home to look for a place where I can record my spiel. But it never worked out.

I went back home, and pushed myself exploring possible ways on how I can pull this thing through.

I even bothered my family, my wife and my eldest who personally pushed for the record button of my cellphone and hold the laptop to help me read for the spiel.

We also had a hard time on achieving the aesthetic side of taping the newscast.
At home, we only used our regular bulb as lighting source.
We do not even have a microphone to enhance the audio of the spiel.
And there was so much that appears on the background like seeing the fridge, the dining table, the curtain and other appliances which we had a hard time, hiding.

I even stayed longer in the morning for recording the spiel.
Aside from the fact that I spent 4 to 5 hours on weaving all the stories together to establish a newscast that will run for 9-15 minutes.

The very first week, I think I was able to empty all the stored energy I kept during the quarantine period of having no work at home.

MORE CHALLENGES

Sometimes choosing the best story for the day is a never ending challenge.
Why?
Because more than the information you'll be getting from the internet through different social media platforms sources, one must consideration is the availability of the audio-visual elements.

Comparable to the traditional form of media like that of Television, an online digital news platform also offers these two important elements to achieve the effective way of story-telling.

Like for example, I previously had a story about the 75th UN General Assembly and that I angled the story on President Donald Trump's speech on giving penalty to China who spreads the Coronavirus pandemic.

Any writer would need a proof of sound byte from this very issue to support the writing.
The recording source of like for example the    Facebook link has to be found.
More than that, listening through a recorded event for the sound byte is also the very hard part of putting all the story together.
Like I for one, had a hard time looking for the time code. Working on a cellphone is even more harder than using one's personal computer.
Like previewing the video to move forward and backward. Using one's finger will move you further or go back at the very beginning.

Transcribing also the interviews for the sound byte will also be asking you to devote more time.
But learning from this line of work, ask google for available transcription.
This will help you see clearly the points raised in a recorded assembly or meeting for instance and will save you more time.

Weaving the story is just one of the many elements present.
The audio element do not just limit the sound byte needed to tell a story.
A recorded voice-over is also another element missing here.

During the first week, I have been adjusting for the voice-over. Primarily because I think at some time, my voice was weak.
I remember I was once told having no breakfast for sending a voice-over that lack voice power.

Taking good care of your voice is a must too. Like getting enough sleep to restore the power to modulate and articulate the voice.
Like what I've learned recently, voicing is acting too.
You have to feel what you are voicing to express it properly.

Other problems encountered during voice-overs was some noise barriers coming from a neighbor listening on a  radio, uncontrollable noises from outside.
Too bad, I do not have a noise-proof wall.
And even some noise purposely or accidentally made inside your home during the recording proper.

Every story has a required voice needed.
The recording of voice-over will depend on the story.
The key to achieve the close to perfect recording is to act it out.
And to hear your voice properly during the recording, use your hand to cover the other side of your ear.
I think I remember seeing this style, on one my former boss Korina Sanchez when I assisted her before during one of her voice recordings.

Eventhough, its a "Work From Home" set-up because of the pandemic...sometimes adding elements like a "Man-on-the-street, " interviews is one sure recipe to bring your story to another level.

Like for instance, when I submitted my very first story on Pres. Dutertes' suggestions to prioritized looking at a more affordable vaccine available in the market...thinking of incorporating sound bytes from the said MOTS will help the story-telling more powerful.

Meaning to say, from time to time during Mondays thru Fridays, you will see me going out and adding some of these elements including spiels to complete the selected story.

A very tough performing duty, thinking that there's a pandemic right now.
But always thinking of not forgetting about some health safety protocols during the coverage.

I have too because I value life, I even care and love my family. This big responsibility must start from me.

THE GREAT REWARD

Being a journalist requires responsibility.
For one, you have to inform and educate people. Being the very first to know the story.
You look for sources, you interview people.
Now, you became the bearer of the story.
Being the first to know is a great reward for every journalists.

Secondly, the byline or the people started to recognize you. This is where you build your credibility.
When more and more people starting to recognize you as the bearer of the news and the author itself, any wrong information  you will tell or send them will result to you as less credible one.
As the saying goes, "great powers, comes great responsibility."
More than lookingbat yourself as the next door friendly neighborhood like spiderman, you are the bearer of the important information.

And lastly, the amazing power it posses that reaches anyone in just one click.
Today, more and more people are clamouring for the need to be inform.
Aside from an interesting story, any online news portal like TNN must know how to share any of these stories uniquely.

The job also requires you to think of the best way (an angle), you will tell the people your story.
Some maybe has a natural talent on this.
But for some, its still a quest to understand how you can be effective on this.

The bottomline is, get all the sources sides as hard as you can and your good to go!

In Finding a Job

About a year ago, I became a part of the so called company "rightsizing."
At the time, I was with the Nine Media Company, CNN Philippines and worked there for almost 6 years.
After that I started facing the reality of life specially in finding the right job.
Before, when I graduated year 2000, the best way to find a job was by looking at a classified ads found in several newspapers.
Or by simply going personally to a prospect companies, submit a resume and wait for their calls.
But after two decades a big change happened specially in looking for a career you want in life.
Things maybe so different because from the perspective of the fresh graduates, experience is the best policy.
While for some including me, who's been working almost 20 years, we are hungry for "professional growth"  and a "career stability."
So when a jobseeker that has so many experiences in life became so "picky" you can't blame them.
After all, its the same standards most of the companies are looking  for at every jobseekers searching for their next career.
So everything is fair.
The jobseekers and the companies both has certain employee's expectations and qualifications.

JOB PORTAL SITES

Recently, I became so active looking at existing but dependable job portal sites.
Mainly because this will bridge a jobseekers to any of the dream job he/she wishes to have in the future.

I came acrossed on all different kinds of job portal sites. I am doing this to expand my reach in different companies offering jobs that matches my skills and qualifications.

I made a blog about jobstreet.com who's been giving me updates daily.
I am also using Kalibrr and LinkedIn to expand more my job searches.
I am also including famous websites of broadcasting companies to name a few...
ABS-CBN Channel 2, and GMA 7.

Most of these job portal sites requires a jobseeker a log-in details and you can only do this by filling-up personal information about you and previous job experiences.

Jobstreet.com, Kalibrr, LinkedIn requires jobseekers to visit their websites for daily updates related to your job searches.
On the other hand, these major broadcasting networks also have the same principles but only ABS-CBN career section sites do not provide changes to a resume one jobseeker provided before. But just limited to a section where you viewed jobs available and an update on the number of years in a particular skills you've provided before.
Like for example, in Associate Producer post I had before, I can only alter the number of years I provided. The section of the major of responsibilities you had were being removed.
See concrete example below...
But GMA 7 allows a jobseekers to alter everything from the photo updates to other relevant information on your job applications but some of these showed a status of unprocessed.

What is pretty normal from most companies who posted for their websites are some automated email responses telling jobseekers that they have received one's application or sometimes your skills do not matches the qualifications they're looking for.
But in my case recently, I got notified as "overqualified."

SOME SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO GET YOUR DREAM JOB

Aside from creating information from many existing job portal sites, a jobseekers is also very hungry of some of the helpful tips they will have to do to have a job.
Some popular suggestions were asking a former colleagues, friends, classmates, people whom you worked before for any possible job opportunities within their companies.
I replied once to this suggestion in one social media sites applications I am actively using.
I remember my former boss who actually told me about this.
And I quote..."Its not what you know, its who you know."
I'd like to disagree on that thought because most of my previous work experiences were jobs I personally applied for.
Highlighting my very skills and qualifications as a journalist.
No wonder why I never had any reaction from that particular suggestion.

While some says you have to look at how your resume appears.
While most of the companies in their human resources sections viewed  experiences as much as important...I still believe in the saying that goes something like this...

How many of us agree on this?
But you know at the end of the day, let's face the reality..."the companies looking for the qualifications they were searching for set the rules."

For some companies who's actually forgetting about their obligations by not even sending any responses from a jobseekers after they had them for interviews...better shape up.
Teach your human resources that there are so many means on how to replied back an email perhaps, a simple text, or if it won't bothers you all...a simple call.

I just remembered one call which I received last month. And that company told me that I was qualified for the post they were looking for. Before ending the interview, the interviewee from the phone told me that they will call within the day or tomorrow...and that their client was from Australia and busy at the moment.
I remembered also an instance where the interviewee was very apologetic because it was prohibited to make anyone on the line to wait longer.
I texted her once, but I never got any response. I made a follow-up text the following day and used the same principles the company set for any of their clients.
And that's how I got response sent via-text as well.

To all the jobseekers, don't ever give up. The process, the waiting is tedious but there are too many jobs out there, grab one for you and fight for it.
And let us all achieve career growth together and professional stability.
If this one won't work, be the boss of your own company, be an entrepreneur! 😉👍

Part 5: What a journey it has been...the finale!

The last time, the Team
Maila Santiaguel, JD Del Rosario, Jake Remphsey Dy, Andrew Nacino,
The Manila Times Tevision
Intramuros, Manila. Philippines.
14th of June 2019

It is actually normal for us to plan things.
Whatever it is a trip, what meal to prepare, and even us in the broadcast industry thinks of an angle of the story before pushing for a coverage.
Because there's really a beauty about planning, no doubt it will surely help you achieve what you are aiming for.
But sometimes eventhough you exactly knew what to expect because that is your expertise...a big surprise will come your way.
I know I am now somehow giving you the premise of what would be the gist of my blog today.

With Dante A. Ang (DAA) meeting with The Manila Times Television staff
13th of June 2019

We were all attention that day and supposedly the meeting with DAA will begin around 10:00 in the morning.
So most of us were ready and very much aware of it.
We do not often see DAA because his office was located at the 2nd floor building while the News and Public Affairs team were situated on the lower ground.
And because we do not see him most of the time, the meeting with all of us, set the tone that there will be an important announcement happening that very moment.
But he was never around in the morning and until 3:00 in the afternoon.
DAA came to us past 4:00pm and at the time he opened the door...he was having a very serious tone.

Our VP Clift Daluz was there, I and another Executive Producer Lara Sen from the Public Affairs,  our Desk Editor/Writer Andrew Nacino, JD Del Rosario our reporter, three cameramans, plus two more important people that was part of the company just before we came in.

DAA started to get to know us one by one by asking what was our posts and what company we previously worked for.

But believe me DAA at the time was meticulously asking each staff present in the conference room.

Until he finally breaks the important announcement and told us that we are not ready yet to launch.
Not ready because we do not have content available in our website.
And surprisingly brought out some of DAA's fear (might be a bold truth) about launching and competing with existing television networks now.
And eventually told us that for the meantime he will be suspending the operation and that most of us in the room will no longer come to the office to report for work.
But not closing the windows for possible grouping again but when the proper time comes.

This all disheartened us. It took me and some of us to absorb this.

The sad truth still leaves us all a smile
The Team
The Manila Times Television
14th of June 2019

The following day, some part of the team bids goodbye like Maila Santiaguel, Jedidiah Del Rosario, Jake Remphsey Dy and even the cameramans who was also asked to work as on-calls.
At the time the running show before we came in for Public Affairs were temporarily suspended for were actually working for a new program look.

The following day, there was a turn-over.
And the following week, I and Drew Nacino were the only remaining people in Mr. Clift Daluzes team.
We were asked to stay and that week period we still push through with accomplishing requirements for President Rodrigo Duterte's 4th SONA.
And still continued thinking segments for the News program and other help that we could extend to support other public affairs program like that of "Veronica Files".

And then came in the 29th of June an ordinary day as it seems. But definitely one unforgettable day.
We were actually bothered that our check wasn't released yet, time checked it was already 4:00 in the afternoon.
To cut the long story short our check was given to us around 4:59 pm and the very time we came in to the bank was already 5:00 pm...bank closing time.
We are closing our fingers for if we loose the chance to encash the check...that means we have to do it again by next week.
Too bad for both of us Drew and I who has financial obligations.
But we never left for the bank. We stood at the door outside begging for the bank to be considerate and approved our requests.
I felt there was some sort of rights that was taken away that very moment because the guard became arrogant and got irritated asking us to leave the premise.
But another guard from the bank came out and open the door, asked questions closed the door again.
But a few seconds the bank door opened again and we were allowed to encash our check.
I remember our boss spoke to DAA but he was told that he was about to leave the office.
But 30 minutes before that DAA's daughter came in to our boss office and gave him a letter informing that he already signed our check.

But going home, the remaining team decided not to go back to work again.
There was supposedly meeting that was called for Monday next week but we never attend.
The meeting with DAA summarizes a capitalization that he will be suspending the network's whole operation...and the rest is history.

Part 3: What a journey it has been!

I together with the team of Sir Chief were very busy that in those weeks we never noticed that we will now be all reaping the fruit of our labors.
Just kidding because we really marked that particular date. 😊
And I am talking to the reward day the very first time that we are all getting our salary and what excites us all...because what were getting was our first 3 weeks, and you know what I mean! 😁💕
Just because I was so honored with the formed team...I gave them a simple treat!

I remember the team decided to give something to the academe and some people whom we are working with.

A special Ube Cake from Max's
Of course, a special coffee with our editor Genel Caibal and hot brewed coffee and a yummy ensaymada for our boss Sir Clift Daluz.

Figaro Frappucino and Brewed Coffee

The following week we all get back to work after a very enjoyable weekend with our beloved families.
This time the team was part of helping the current affairs team who will be airing that very Monday.
Early in the morning the crew were around in the studio and we replaced the old program tarpaulin with an approved one.
Everyone was there giving all their very share to make the program ready just before the airing time around 2:00pm.
