Holidays in Seda Nuvali and more!

From a very devastating event that the family went through last October, comes a wonderful Christmas gift that somehow bids goodbye and relaxes all of us last two weeks of December 2021.

A VISIT TO SEDA NUVALI

18th of December 2021, Saturday, our first destination is to visit one popular hotel in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Seda Nuvali.

The family decided to rent a car from one of my sibling and that solves the travel dilemma. It took us 2 hours or so before we finally reach the Seda Nuvali Hotel in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

We dropped our things upon the hotel arrival and started looking for a place to have lunch. Of course, we had with us photos of my deceased wife and youngest daughter.

The change of location was a perfect idea for all of us to relax and unwind. Althea and Mikayla was very happy experiencing hotel stay for a very long time.

The plan was to go to 'Enchanted Kingdom' upon arrival at the hotel. But because I think that we will lack time to enjoy our stay there (knowing that it will closes around 7pm) arriving around 4:00 pm is too short to have fun.

We moved it for the next day visit and looked for a restaurant to feed our hungry stomachs.

My sibling Richel joined us for lunch in a Max's Restaurant just across the hotel.

After a quick lunch, we went to landmark made a quick shopping and groceries.

Looking at the Landmark branch in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, compare to one branch here in Trinoma, Quezon City, it has more items to sell. After a few minutes of walking, inside we went outside and upon looking around Nuvali has many stores in the place and to our surprise also has many restaurants that offers different kinds of food for many types of customers.

We spotted, one named 'KAFF Cafe and Restaurant' a pretty cozy, no one was around. I mean, it has less people.
I also chose that set up for a fear on mixing  with a number of people because of the pandemic.

It has 'al presco' and dine-in options. But because we were tired walking, an air-conditioned restaurant with a beautiful couch really called our attention.

We highly recommend this place for all, for it served us a very good food on their menus at a very affordable prices and we also had time to play. They were very polite and accommodating too.

I remember, I need to ask their waiters which later on directed me through a store owner/manager of the restaurant about what's on their restaurant menus that was 'kid friendly'.

We stayed for an hour but we came out happy and very much satisfied.

BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY

I woke up ahead of the kids and also have spent time at the gym area. I just left a note to my eldest that they have to be ready before 8:00 A. M.

The kids also wanted to experience the hotel  swimming pool, this came after a very good breakfast.

While the kids enjoyed their hot chocolate drinks and pancakes, I ordered for chicken and an egg omelette with fruits. But you know, coffee will always be present. A great choice to start the day.  ☕

THE RAIN WON'T STOP THE KIDS IN DIPPING IN THE POOL

My youngest Mikayla met a new friend, a boy one-year younger than her. Althea and her enjoyed an hour swimming while the rain was pouring.

Being a 'TayNay' myself, I was really extra cautious of possible accident knowing that the pool area was really slippery.

So far, they had a wonderful time!

EK, HERE WE GO!

The kids were very excited on this particular visit for it was suppose to be scheduled the day before.

For some reason, the weather changes it became rainy, but the kids still pushed for roving around the amusement park.

We had less rides, but we enjoyed buying for things we used to protect us from rains.

The kids stopped by, in one of their favorite pancake house and had merienda.

So far, I think they only had 3 rides. They never even tried riding at the carousel for we came in before 5:00 P. M. But they went home with 'Eldar'.

I remember, we had our visit on EK previously back when they're Mom was still alive. We couldn't afford the stuffed toy. But I promised myself if we came back again, we will purchase it.

Before going home, we never left the town without visiting stores for pasalubongs to our loved ones, family, and even co-workers too.
