A Wednesday to remember
Tuesday night I spoke to my wife Mary Anne about a plan
of seeing them after work. I asked them to visit me at my office. This also
gave an opportunity for our daughter Althea to pay a visit with some of my
co-workers at Solar News Channel.
After a warm greeting with them, we went to the nearest
mall and ate lunch at McDonalds, SM Megamall.
We’ve been frequently visiting the fast food chain to
bring a happy meal toy for Althea.
After that, we went to a Toy Kingdom and there she spotted two interesting toys; a bubble , and also brought home a colorful “Easter
Eggs”.
I got reminded that day…I need to get myself a new
cellphone.
I started looking out for every possible store and there
I have seen brands like Lenovo, my phone, cherry mobile, to name a few.
Althea started to fall asleep after drinking her milk.
While I was looking for her, my wife volunteered to look
around.
She went back after and suggested a particular trusted
brand.
A limited budget led me from choosing a Nokia 101. A very
nice replacement for my old Blackberry mobile phone.
Lately, I cannot open messages sent to me and the worst
was I can no longer use it to call anyone.
Then, we had our dinner at the French Baker.
I ordered for pasta paired with a four season’s drink,
while my wife had a burger steak and an iced mocha.
Along the way, while we were all strolling we passed by a
theatre area of the mall. Althea suggested us to watch “Must Be Love,” a Star
Cinema movie featuring Danielle Padilla, and Kathryn Bernardo.
I don’t know, at a very young age Althea fell in-love
with their love teams.
I might be sleepy but then still grant my daughter and my
wife’s request.
Inside the theatre, we were both happy to see her singing
a famous song from the movie…”Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat.”
After the movie, Althea says she wanted to grab some
French fries and a sundae. So we went to McDonalds again but the bulk of people
who wanted to order for something, made us scrap the idea.
Instead, we travelled to another branch near the
Monumento and had our midnight snack there.
A great opportunity for Althea to complete her McDonalds
happy meal toy.
We all had a great family day after.
And the whole day activity sent us all to have a very
goodnight sleep.

It’s about to explode
On my way out of the bus…believe me it was so hard to walk on the aisle of it. And when I think I am up to the nearest comfort room…OMG…there are two more guys falling in-line inside. The other male sink unfortunately is under maintenance. Grrg!
I don’t know why I feel so thirsty. I think the only way to
satisfy my thirst… is to drink lots of water.
One, two, three, four, and up to five glasses, that was I
believe a number of times I drank.
Not to include two more glasses of water before I totally
left the office.
I know anytime I will feel that there will be a need for me
to urinate, I did that before I left the office that day.
I left Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, riding a bus
bound to north going to Navotas.
At the time, a sign of going to a comfort room is felt
again. Not to mention, I remember, I went to the nearest mall to urinate before
starting my journey on my way home.
I was able to sleep for a while but upon waking up the
feeling of urinating become intense.
I don’t know it bothers me so much everytime that the bus is
taking and unloading passengers.
I have to apply the theory I know that will help me lessen
my worry about it…the ‘Mind over matter’ thing.
Meaning I have to convince myself that I can still hold on it.
I need to put myself on hold for urinating from Shaw
Boulevard to SM North.
On my way out of the bus…believe me it was so hard to walk
on the aisle of it. And when I think I am up to the nearest comfort
room…OMG…there are two more guys falling in-line inside. The other male sink
unfortunately is under maintenance. Grrg!
Again, I have to keep myself on-hold. I was thinking maybe I
can ask the guy ahead of me to please allow me to do it first before him. But I
think I’m gonna be asking too much. I just deleted that idea on my mind
immediately.
Finally, it was my turn. I think it I was able to release
more like of a four glasses of a fluid in me. And that was so much of a relief.
I just notice that I was using the toilet for quite so long.
Why? Because the guy next to me has shown gesture of himself getting irritated
of me.

The best therapy to get rid of boredom and tiredness
”A day without a
laughter, is a day wasted.”
-Charles ‘Charlie’
Chaplin
It was then again a regular routine at work, Friday and
an hour or so my duty at the office will soon to end. I feel so tired and
sleepy as well, one big factor brought about this feeling is because of the
insufficient sleep I got before the week ends.
As usual I came to think that it would end that way until...I
had a beautiful conversation with a one of my co-worker.
It all started with a greeting why I was alone having
lunch. Until she started to recall about a hurtful love story she had with a
person she’s suppose to exchange vow with. Unluckily, it didn’t have a happy
ending because her fiancee' accidentally had a one night stand with another woman and what's worst was making her pregnant. Tsk tsk tsk.
As I began thinking that she narrated everything to me, I
was surprised that she has more interesting story to tell.
Now, she began telling me a story about her husband and
how do they argue everytime they have differences.
One very interesting highlight was when she fails to
answer a call from her husband who wanted to get an immediate response on her whereabouts.
She said her husband releases his uncontrollable temper
with their appliances like of their electric fan. There even came to a point that even their
refrigerator if given extra-strength…will be thrown away.
And this gave me a cue to laugh.
“My husband kept on throwing our fan…but after that he
keeps on fixing them. To good that it was standard (mentioning a specific brand
of fan).” She said.
And at this time, I was laughing continuously, never
notice myself that I was beginning to cry for her serious story that was now
seem to be a joke for me.
And wait there’s more…she even cited a story of her ‘Sony
Ericsson’ mobile phone that was also a number of times a victim of their
argument.
She mentioned that because of that particular incident she has proven that this was among the strongest phone at their tough times.
There was also a number of times that it was seen flying
at the corner of their house. But despite of this she reiterated…her CP still
functions well.
At this point, I felt that my jaw hurts.
I exerted much effort not to laugh, but then I found
myself giggle as loud as I can.
And one particular quote from a famous comedian Charles ‘Charlie’
Chaplin reminded me that…”A day without a laughter, is a day wasted.”
Which leads me to popular quote that I never failed to
hear…”Laughter is the best medicine”.
And I believe it will always be.

My daughter got Bullied
The Wikipedia says...
Bullying is the use of force or coercion to abuse or intimidate others. The behavior can be habitual and involve an imbalance of social or physical power. It can include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion and may be directed repeatedly towards particular victims, perhaps on grounds of race, religion, gender, sexuality, or ability.
Behind this photo, is an interesting story to tell.
A very alarming one.
I have to change clothes so I have to leave them for a while.
A few minutes after, there was a little boy (around 2 years of age) approached her and slapped her face.
She was just behind my wife who's at the time just fixing her make-up.
My daughter cried out loud, because obviously She got hurt.
But the parent of the child didn't notice that there was a scenario like that.
They're attention has been called when my wife hold the hand of the boy and asked..."Kaninong anak ka?"
Right and then and there, my wife told the parent of the child that our daughter got slapped.
The parent immediately disciplined the child.
